Worcester Eisenbrandt (WEI) a construction company specializing in Historic Restoration is seeking you, the experienced Assistant Project Manager .
Some of the position responsibilities are:
Interact with construction staff, contractors and equipment vendors Assist in the oversight of multiple construction projects Assist in reporting and following deadlines, scope of work and budgets Source and coordinate materials and equipment according to project timeline Maintain daily logs of assigned job sites.
Ability to read blue prints and other plan documents. Assist in the supervision construction staff such as:
carpenters, masons and pointers Assist in sourcing sub-contractors and assign sub work accordingly Prioritize operations and make changes in operations to meet deadlines.
At the direction of the Project Manager, create purchase orders consistent with the terms and conditions contained in the subcontractor bids, contract documents, according to Company policy. Have the ability to make detailed list of the exact quantities of materials required for the project.  Comfortable with takeoffs. . Experience with the change order process. Position Requirements 3-5 years experience in commercial construction; Previous construction management experience; Historic preservation knowledge is a plus; Proficiency with Excel software Comfortable with heights If  you are not on the WEI career page:
