We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of real estate development projects. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate design reviews, permit approvals, and construction progress.
Support the preparation of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports for stakeholders.
Monitor onsite activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality controls, and design specifications.
Collaborate with the project management team to resolve issues, manage resources, and track milestones effectively.
Assist in conducting site visits and meetings to assess progress and address challenges with the construction crew.
Help manage vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Contribute to risk management by identifying potential delays or cost overruns and proposing solutions.
Support the closeout process, including final inspections, punch lists, and handover to property management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in project coordination or construction management, preferably in real estate development.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic understanding of construction processes, permitting, and contract administration.
