Hill International is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in San Antonio, Texas
Hill International is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to provide administrative, technical, and logistical support to the project manager and field teams. This person will act as a bridge between the field and office, ensuring smooth communication, document management, and adherence to project plans.
Manage and organize project communications (meetings, reports)
Coordinate schedules, budgets, and timelines
Support quality control and ensure compliance with contract requirements
Communicate with field teams, contractors, and stakeholders
Assist the Project Manager and potentially step in during their absence
Maintaining and organizing project records, including drawings, specifications, reports, and submittals
Coordinating schedules, budgets, and timelines for construction projects
Assisting with calculations, design reviews, and resolving technical issues
Tracking project costs, preparing budgets, and assisting with financial reports
Ensuring adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and contractual requirements
Communicating project progress, updates, and issues to stakeholders
Assisting with tasks like meeting coordination, report preparation, and office equipment maintenance
Ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications
Assisting with the review, analysis, and processing of change orders
Seek information and assist in the preparation of various stakeholder reports
Familiarity with construction means and methods, submittals, RFI's, and change orders
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in construction or engineering in highway or transportation projects
Experience in COSA and/or TxDOT standards and documentation preferred
FTA experience is preferred
Proficiency in engineering and construction software
Must be willing to work full time on-site in San Antonio, TX
