Job Summary: They are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our San Diego team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to grow within the commercial construction industry. As a Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects Maintain and update project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers Track project schedules and monitor progress Help manage budgets and cost control measures Support procurement of materials and equipment Conduct site walks and assist in quality control inspections Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction (internships considered) Strong knowledge of construction processes, drawings, and terminology Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
