What you will do as an Assistant Production Team Lead: Operate and prepare scaling equipment Assist with coordinating department activities within a production area to ensure department and company production is met in a timely manner Assist with maintaining tracking of daily KPI’s and communicate progress to their team, utilizing hour-by-hour boards Promptly communicate any potential outages or shortcomings to the Production Team Lead or Supervisor Assist with supporting autonomous maintenance through the use of CID and CL standards Assist with coordinating and participating in Continuous Improvement, Safety, and Quality initiatives Assist with performing Root Cause Analysis / Investigations, including but not limited to: Safety Incidents, Production Downtime, Food Safety/Quality, and Food Waste issues Provide feedback for the creation of work procedures as they pertain to Safety, Quality, and Productivity

What you need to be an Assistant Production Team Lead: High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of manufacturing-related experience, preferably in food production Basic computer skills, entering data, Microsoft Office, and email Bilingual/Spanish or Somali (speaking/writing/ reading) preferred Excellent problem-solving skills Must have reliable transportation and be able to work a flexible schedule Self-motivated individual
