The role youll contribute: The Assistant Nurse Manager supervises and coordinates patient care on the assigned nursing units, supporting the planning, directing, and evaluating of nursing services to ensure quality care and organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities include conducting chart audits within the EMR for accuracy and completeness, coordinating staff educational needs, and contributing to strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives. Educates and ensures accountability of patient experience initiatives. Participates in daily rounding for outcomes.
Qualifications The expertise and experience needed include: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Minimum of three years of acute care nursing experience or one year with prior leadership experience Current valid Florida State Board of Nursing Registered Nurse license AHA BLS card Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, etc., as required by the specialty unit
