Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Nurse Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the delivery of exceptional patient care in our Labor and Delivery unit. In this leadership position, you will collaborate closely with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of the Specialty Nursing Division to manage both administrative and operational functions. Your expertise will guide and mentor a skilled team of healthcare professionals, ensuring patients receive compassionate and high-quality care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing visible leadership for direct patient care.
Ensuring accessible communication and smooth transitions for patients throughout their healthcare journey.
Developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and programs in alignment with our hospital's mission.
Supporting the growth and coordination of unit-based staff while collaborating with other service and department leaders.
Promoting a collegial and collaborative environment to enhance team performance.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To excel in this role, you must have:
A Baccalaureate degree in nursing; a Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.
A current New York State Registered Nurse registration or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
Management experience (preferred).
