About the Role As the Assistant Manager at our restaurant, you will be a crucial component in supporting the General Manager with day-to-day operations to ensure our restaurant's success. Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment, uphold food safety standards, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in engaging and motivating staff members. Recruit and train top talent for our restaurant. Support the General Manager in achieving operational goals and budget targets. Maintain transparent communication about team achievements and operational changes. Optimize staff deployment for maximum efficiency during service. Resolve operational challenges to boost restaurant sales and service efficiency. Oversee inventory and ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols. Commit to ongoing training and development for both kitchen and dining room operations. Food Safety and Team Member Safety Ensure consistent adherence to food safety and security standards. Provide Outstanding Customer Service Guarantee that all team members deliver top-notch customer service. The Experience You Have Minimum of 2 years of restaurant supervisory or management experience in high-volume settings. Track record of effectively managing and developing teams of 15 or more. Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment. Meticulous attention to detail with a strong drive for efficiency. Professional demeanor and adherence to policies and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong team player. Requirements Must be 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for a full shift. Open availability including nights and weekends. Current Food Handlers Certification required. Role Details Salary Range: $57,750 - $70,500 annually. Location: To be determined upon assignment within 40 miles from New Providence, New Jersey.
