About the Role As an Assistant Manager in one of our restaurants, you will be essential in supporting the General Manager to ensure seamless operations and a thriving workplace. Collaborate with the General Manager and team members to cultivate a positive environment, uphold food and safety standards, and deliver outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Support the General Manager in guiding, inspiring, and training staff to excel. Recruit and onboard top talent for the restaurant team. Assist in achieving operational goals and budget targets. Communicate effectively regarding team priorities, achievements, and operational updates. Optimize staff deployment for efficient floor management. Enhance restaurant sales and service efficiency by addressing operational challenges. Oversee inventory management and food safety protocols. Commit to ongoing training in both kitchen and dining operations to maintain high standards. Food Safety and Team Member Safety Ensure compliance with food safety and security standards. Customer Service Excellence Guarantee that all team members provide outstanding customer service. The Experience You Have Minimum of two years in restaurant management or supervisory roles in high-volume Quick Service Restaurants or full-service establishments. Proven ability to manage and develop teams of 15 or more members. Skilled in leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on efficiency and accuracy. Professional demeanor and adherence to company policies and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A collaborative team player. Requirements Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the US. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Willingness to stand for the duration of the shift. Open availability, including nights and weekends. Current Food Handlers Certification required. Role Details Salary Range: $57,750 - $70,500 per year. Location: Assignment within 40 miles from Livingston, New Jersey. Bench Position Acknowledgment This position requires flexibility to work across multiple locations until a permanent home location is designated after completing the Manager in Training program.
