In this leadership role, you'll support the Controller in overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting with accuracy and integrity. You'll also lead our Accounts Receivable team, helping to drive timely collections, accurate billing, and strong cash flow-contributing to the financial health that powers our mission.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
This position will have a hybrid work environment operating from the Scottsdale, AZ location 3 days per week and working from a remote/ at-home office 2 days per week.

As an Assistant Corporate Controller, you'll get to:
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of the general ledger and subledgers.
- Support daily accounting operations, including general ledger management, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Verify the accuracy of account reconciliations and develop corrective actions when needed.
- Analyze and improve accounting processes for greater efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Help develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Oversee updates and testing of the financial ERP system and manage accounting-related technology.
- Prepare financial analyses, reports, and metrics with actionable insights for leadership.
- Collaborate with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Partner with business leaders to ensure accurate financial data, strong internal controls, and fraud prevention.
- Step in for the Corporate Controller when needed.
- Lead and mentor the Accounts Receivable team, including billing, collections, credit risk, and cash application.
- Stay informed of industry developments and represent the organization in professional networks and associations.
Requirements
Knowledge/ Education
- Bachelor's degree required.
- MBA preferred.
Licenses/ Certifications
- CPA certification preferred.
Experience
- Seven years of related experience required to include four years of supervisory experience.
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to work in a team environment.
