Overview

A sweet family of five located in Purchase, NY is seeking an afternoon nanny/family assistant to help with their three children, aged 6.5, 5, and 3. All three children attend school full-time, and the schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday, 5-8pm. The family is looking for an immediate start, so the children can get to know the nanny before school starts in September. Responsibilities

Transport the children as needed Family laundry (as time allows) Heat and serve dinner Supervise dinner and bedtime routines Occasionally stay for a date night if available Actively engage with children through play, reading, and creative activities Qualifications

Active and energetic, and able to keep up with two very active boys Intellectually curious with the desire to really interact with the children Firm and kind with the ability to enforce boundaries Nurturing and loving Mature and seasoned with common sense- both parents have demanding jobs and need someone who can come in and handle the household Looking for a long-term commitment with a great family Requirements

A valid driver's license and clean record (the family will provide a car for work use) Swimming is NOT required, but would be a bonus Willing to work in a busy household with family members present Ability and willingness to work with a friendly 10lb dog Experience working with multiple preschool/elementary school aged children Salary and Benefits
