As an Advanced Radiology Technologist Assistant , you will play a vital role in supporting radiology technologists by performing various essential tasks including clerical, technical, and patient-related functions. Your responsibilities will involve patient check-in, exam preparation, patient education, assisting during exams and procedures, and transporting patients as needed. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate competency in performing job-related skills relevant to customer populations and departmental services. Oversee the administration and coordination of patient registration. Greet and assist visitors and patients. Conduct check-in and check-out processes and verify insurance information while informing patients about the costs of care. Direct patients to appropriate resources for further information. Answer telephones and relay messages promptly. Prepare the imaging room according to the specific exam requirements, ensuring proper safety precautions are taken. Provide excellent customer service by clearly explaining all procedures to patients. Position patients comfortably while maintaining their modesty. Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices in the field. Follow established guidelines and instructions to fulfill job duties effectively. Assist patients with dressing and undressing, positioning them for exams, and escorting them to and from exam rooms. Interact compassionately with individuals ranging from healthy to critically ill.
