Responsible for planning and directing operational programs in which coordination and administrative supervision are the most important aspects of the work. Advises the general public, County employees, and employees from other governmental agencies and/or organizations on departmental policies and procedures; resolves difficult customer relations problems that cannot be handled by supporting clerical staff. Arranges appointments and coordinates meetings. Coordinates and implements processes and procedures that impact the Department. Coordinates travel for Director, Justice Services, and Division staff. Performs data analysis and technical writing tasks; provides direction or input on special projects/programs. Work is performed with considerable independence under general supervision and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and results achieved.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of five (5) years of responsible office experience, which includes six (6) months reviewing, overseeing, and leading the work of others.
PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE: Using MS Word for formatting documents, MS Excel for producing calculations, MS PowerPoint for generating presentations; coordinating travel arrangements. Also desirable: Associate’s Degree or two (2) years of college-level coursework.
