Job Description
SUMMARY
The Production Lead will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily production activities of the production staff, while ensuring that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 10pm – 6:20am (Need to be available to train on 1st and 2nd shift)
Pay: $21.50 - $25.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and supervise the daily production activities of assigned staff.
- Ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner,
- Monitor production performance, identify areas of improvement, and take corrective action as needed.
- Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with established safety and quality standards.
- Develop and train employees to perform different jobs correctly and to build quality product efficiently.
- Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and processes.
- Monitor and document employee attendance and performance.
- Develop and implement production schedules and workflows
- Enforce company policies and procedures in a consistent and fair manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Keep all required work-related records up to date.
- Keep respected area in compliance with the general manufacturing procedures.
- Recommend ways to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
- Report machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel through documented procedures.
- Follow all safety procedures.

Required education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- No previous experience required
Preferred Education and experience
- Previous experience as a lead in a manufacturing environment

- Medium – While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, Kneel, crouch, and use hands to finger, handle, or free objects. The use of common hand tools and regularly sharp tools are involved. The employee frequently is required to talk, hear, and communicate with other employees
