Department: Maintenance 3rd Shift

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Summary: This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment as well as repairs to the facility and grounds. Job aspects and duties include but not limited to:

• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Performing Preventative Maintenance as needed.
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance to the facility.
• Repairing machines, equipment, and facility as necessary.
• Support Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives by following established procedures, participating in safety training, and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• May be exposed to minor risk of electrical shock in the repair of electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.

Maintenance Worker Requirements:

• Proven maintenance experience
• High school diploma/GED or related degree from technical school.
• Skilled use of hand and power tools, hoists, lifts.
• Ability to take apart machines, equipment devices and replace defective parts.
• Experience with reading schematics, blueprints, instructions as needed.
• Experience performing routine maintenance.
• Strong communication skills and an eye for detail.
• Professional presentation and attitude.

• Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and climb to a height of 50 feet.

Recommended Education and/or Experience:

Minimum three to five years related machine repair and maintenance experience.
