2nd Shift Packaging Material Handler
Organize and store product to meet customer specifications in compliance with company policy related to GMP's and Safety.
Unload, receive & putaway corrugate/boxes.
Unload, receive & putaway trays/lids.
Unload, receive & putaway anti-cake powder into flow rail locations.
Ensure putaway organization is maintainedboxes into their designated storage bins as well as proper FIFO for anti-cake powder and trays/lids.
Accurately process all inbound paperwork as well as daily receiving log.
Assist with back-filling trays/lids for production into freezer bin locations.
Transfer blocked inventory from FG cooler to WIP/cheese sale.
Transfer 4/5's for production use from corrugate dock to raw material coolers.
Pull boxes for IC shipments to sister plants, adding placards.
Loading damaged Chep and/or white wood pallets..keeping corrugate dock clear.
Loading empty chubb trays & baby swiss boxes for return to the suppliers.
Support unloading film or labels, if needed.
Support putaway of film or labels, if needed.
Provide support for monthly employee cheese sale, if needed.
Assist Inventory Specialist with inventory tasks, if needed.
Keep packaging storage areas clean/organized, ensuring items are putaway in proper location.
General housekeeping tasks in warehouse, as needed.
Compliance with all safety standards and regulations per company policy.

Other responsibilities as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
Ability to read and prepare shipping and receiving records/reports and comprehend production schedules/pick sheets.
Ability to make sound decisions based on functional expertise and experience.
Repetitive work, ability to make minor decisions based on standard practices.
High School diploma or GED.
Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes and related equipment.
Lift truck experience.
Hair nets, ear plugs/muffs, hardhats, and/or safety glasses may be required.
Repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 50-60 degrees F.
Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder and pushing/pulling/carrying.
Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands.
