Support student success by providing behavior intervention assistance in an elementary school setting located in Riverside, CA. This contracted role focuses on 1:1 and classroom behavioral support for students with mild to severe needs during the current school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 behavior intervention and classroom support for students with special education needs Implement behavior interventions effectively and consistently based on individual student plans Assist with toileting and other personal care needs when required Communicate clearly and reliably with staff and students to promote a positive learning environment Maintain punctual attendance and dependable transportation to fulfill daily duties Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working in schools, preferably with special education populations and behavior intervention strategies Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to varied caseloads and student needs Reliable transportation and communication skills are essential CPR, First Aid, and CPI training considered an advantage but not mandatory Work Schedule and Details: 6.5 hours per day Monday through Friday, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch (approximately 30 hours per week) Initial opportunity to work as a substitute until full-time positions become available, based on district needs Contract position for the current school year This role offers a chance to impact student behavior positively and support educators in creating an inclusive school environment.
